Re: Richard Plummer's farm (built before 1815) in Cambria County, PA, USA

Since this Richard Plummer went on to have many descendants who were born and lived in Cambria County, PA, I'm wondering if he could be an ancestor of the Emily F. (or J.) Plummer I've been searching for.

My Emily F. (or J.) Plummer was listed on the 1860 census for Carroll Twp, Cambria County, PA, living with Christian and Rebecca Fulmer and their three youngest children. Emily was listed as six years old on this census, so would have been born in PA about 1854 or 1855. This Emily may be the 15-year-old "Emma" who was listed as the adopted daughter of the Fulmers on the 1870 census.

Emma Fulmer was my great-grandmother. Since she was adopted at a young age, I have not been able to find out anything about her birth parents.

Can anyone help me identify the Emily F. (or J) Plummer, who was about 6 years old in 1860 and living in Cambria County, PA with the Fulmer family?

Hello, Trying to find the parents of Elizabeth Plummer Hopper, Elizabeth married William Hopper in Henry County, Virginia in 1847 (found marriage records). From census records I know she was born in North Carolina and both of her parents are listed as being born in North Carolina.
Elizabeth was born in 1832 and died sometime after 1880 TX (still looking for death certificate).
Anyone help would be greatly appreciated.

I am searching for my grandmother, Mabel Mae Plummer. She was born in Wisconsin between 1898 to 1901. She married Andy H. Gilmore in Dickinson, ND on October 23, 1917. They had 7 children all born in the same area. I would appreciate it so much if someone might know of her and her family. Thank you.

hi, i am researching the Plummer family tree that came from the same area, i still live near there myself. i have come across a few names the furthest i have got back to is Elisha Plummer D.O.B 1823 his son was John Plummer D.O.B 1848. would b very grateful for any info u have on the family. many thanks kelly plummer

Kelly, my PLUMMER branch are all in Kilmersdon Church of England records for 18 and 19 centuries -- my John PLUMMER married Susan TREASURE -- 1828 --- his son John b 1843 died in infancy --- I hope we can connect. Charles Nelson

1910 MO, Vernon Co. Schell City census:
PLUMMER, Ollevia 62 widow AL TN TN 8 children 4 living. Owns home, free.
ROGERS, Melvin grandson age 5 b. Indian Territory, parents born TN MO.

Plumer, Olevia 73 widow AL TN TN Owns house, free.
Rogers, Myrtie dau 42 widow MO IA AL
Rogers, Melvin grandson 15 OK TN MO

Melvin's mother died 1 Feb 1920 several weeks after the 1920 census in Schell City. His mother name on her death record is Myrtel Ann Rogers, female, white, Divorced (note that in 1920 census, she states widowed). Myrtel/Myrtle's parents on her death record: Mason J. Plummer and Alevia Kirkland. The informant was Mrs. George Plummer, who I think is Myrtle's sister-in-law.

There must be a GUARDIAN record for Melvin as he was a minor at the time of his mother's death, age of about 15 yrs. Does any Plummer or Roger/Rodger family have any information for hism
I have tried to find information on Melvin for years. I am not sure if the surname is Rogers or Rodgers. This is all the verified facts I have.
Melvin's maternal grandparents are Mason/M. J. Plummer and Olivia/Olevia Kirkland. Olivia is a sister of my g gf John Anderson Kirkland of Franklin Co., KS.

I have a notation from our family history that shows a Thaddeus Warren Hines adopted by a Plummer family, New York who then went to Venezuela or Argentina as Missionaries. Maybe LDS. Sound like any of your Plummers?

I have no information on when my great grandparents were born or died. I know they lived in or around Pachuta, Mississippi. My grandparents I have no birth years yet (waiting on some info) but I know they died around 1997. My father is still alive (his memory kind of sucks, but he is trying to be helpful) he was born in 1957. He is from Pachuta, Mississippi as well.

While I was reserching my relative in the Allen Co. library in Fort Wayne, IN. I came across a large book of
African American Plummers. I didn't do much more than browse through it, but you might contact the library in Fort Wayne and see if you can get someone to look up the name for you. I haven't been to the library in awhile, but
